Jim Talalaj brings 30 years of management experience and 10 years of property development to National Property Inspections Brooklyn and Staten Island. Before becoming an inspector and franchise owner, Jim worked in the hospitality industry for several restaurant groups. While working in operation for most of his career, Jim segued into property management and development for those brands. As part of this role, Jim worked on the property maintenance of all of the buildings he supervised including but not limited to Systems maintenance, HVAC and Mechanicals, Ansul, Refrigeration and Electrical.

Jim is professionally licensed in the state of New York, completing all necessary certifications for his licensing in Home Inspection. In addition, Jim has also completed certifications with the international home inspection organization InterNACHI and is a member in good standing. Jim and his wife, Margie, have lived in the New York City area for more than 20 years in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bay Bridge. Jim and Margie are active in the Elks organization with focus on deaf and disabled children assistance. Jim also served on the boards of the local Boys and Girls Club and his apartment Co-op.
