Inspector Jon Glinski, founder of NPI Rutland, embarked on this career path after 16 years in the lumber and building material industry across Connecticut and Vermont. Driven by a desire to give back more meaningfully to his customers and the local community, Jon recognized that property inspection offered a unique opportunity to leverage his extensive experience to fully educate individuals about their potential homes.

NPI Rutland was established with the core principle of empowering clients to make informed decisions based on more than just a written document. Jon provides a personalized tour of the home during the inspection, encouraging customers to ask questions in real-time, rather than waiting for follow-up communication. Clients also benefit from next-day report delivery and comprehensive documentation, including photos of every item inspected.

With over 1,000 inspections completed in the last seven years, Jon’s favorite aspect of his work remains the educational component. In his free time, Jon is a stagehand at the historic Rutland Paramount Theater. He enjoys attending and recording live music, and previously played in a band himself. During the warmer months, he can be found fishing and exploring the outdoors, while winter typically sees him skiing, often at Killington resort.
Jon is a Freemason at Morning Sun Lodge #5 in Bridport, Vermont (a local Masonic Lodge dedicated to supporting local families and children), and a Shriner at Cairo Shriners in Rutland, VT, actively contributing to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
