Owner and Professional TREC Inspector Travis Spillman grew up in Houston, Texas, and moved to Louisiana, where he earned a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Louisiana State University. He went on to spend 15 years in the natural gas compression industry, working in Capital Sales and Key Account Management roles, lending much of his focus to construction and project management, as well as engine analysis. When he moved back to Houston in 2010, he became heavily involved in local real estate, working as an investor for the past 10 years and a real estate agent for the past 4 years. Travis and his wife, Stephanie, have two boys, Payton and JT. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, traveling with family and friends, and experiencing new places.

Travis has always been deeply interested in construction, real estate and architecture. After a not-so-great experience where he purchased a home that appeared great on the outside, but turned out needing extensive repairs, he knew he wanted to help families get the information they need to make a great investment.
