NPI Low Country Add-On Services

Providing Inspections for Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Moncks Corner, Ridgeville, Pinopolis, St. George and Surrounding Areas

In addition to general residential and commercial property inspections, NPI offers a suite of services that can be tailored to your specific needs. Below, you will find a list of each additional service offered by your local NPI Low Country team.

Your NPI inspector can check your basement, crawl spaces, attic, carpet and more for potentially hazardous mold. If mold is suspected, samples can be collected and analyzed to confirm the extent of the contamination and determine necessary remediation. Indoor air pollution can be just as big a problem as outdoor air pollution, leading to increased allergy symptoms, asthma and other respiratory issues. A certified NPI inspector can perform air quality testing and provide you with a detailed report of our findings. Click here to learn more about NPI's air quality testing.

For homes with a pool or spa, NPI can perform an inspection to determine the functionality of components like the pump, filter, heater and electrical wiring. Pool and spa inspections also give you a clear idea of the safety of the system as a whole, which is essential for families with small children.

An NPI irrigation system inspection covers every visible component of your lawn sprinkler system, including the controller, sprinkler heads, rain sensors or gauges and backflow preventers. Your inspector will test the system to determine proper functionality and lawn coverage.

Using an infrared camera specially designed to identify changes in temperature, your NPI inspector will scan and analyze your home’s walls, ceilings and more. Hot spots can indicate potential hazards such as wiring issues, while cold spots can mean moisture or missing insulation. An infrared inspection sheds light on the small issues you can’t see before they become big problems.

Termites and other wood-destroying organisms (WDOs) can cause catastrophic damage to your home’s structure if left untreated. A termite inspection can identify the presence of termites, carpenter ants, wood-boring beetles and more before they cause irreversible damage. Termite, pest, and CL100 inspections from NPI are performed by a trusted third-party contractor.

Your NPI inspector can provide many different types of field services, including occupancy status inspections, property assessment and condition reports, insurance risk assessment inspections, REO foreclosures and more. Any of these services can be tailored to your specific needs.

If you’re buying or selling a property that draws its water from a private well, National Property Inspections can perform a water quality inspection. Your NPI inspector will collect water samples and send them to an approved laboratory for testing. Well water is tested for Coliform bacteria, particulates, mineral content and even radon to determine its safety to drink.
