Inspector Ken Smith transitioned to the home inspection industry after a long and dedicated career in construction. While his body signaled it was time for a change from the demands of building, his extensive hands-on experience proved to be the perfect foundation for his current role. An opportune suggestion from his sister-in-law, a real estate agent, connected him with a retiring home inspector, creating a seamless path for him to continue utilizing his valuable skills.
Ken is particularly passionate about educating young homebuyers on the critical importance of regular home maintenance, empowering them to protect their investment for years to come. Operating as a successful team with his wife Brenda, Ken finds that their collaborative approach and efficient routine ensures a smooth and thorough process.
Outside of his inspection work, Ken enjoys camping, traveling, and hunting in his spare time.
