NPI Michiana is proud to be a family-owned company, owned and operated by Steve and Shirley Hampton. Steve Hampton serves as chief property inspector. He entered the home inspection industry with over 20 years of knowledge and experience in Corporate America because he saw the value of property inspections before purchasing a home or commercial building. Being a homeowner himself, Steve’s family has benefited in the past from home inspections, and he wanted to bring that same experience and peace of mind to others. Co-Owner Shirley Hampton handles the day-to-day operations, including scheduling and office management. Originally from Guatemala, Shirley is fluent in both English and Spanish. Together with their young daughter Mia, the Hamptons enjoy hiking, dancing, listening to both American and Latino music, going to the beach, visiting local parks, museums, the Zoo, and going for long relaxing drives.
