Our inspector Shawn from NPI East Denver Metro performed a total house inspection on a property that my daughter, her husband, and I want to purchase together. Shawn was probably the most competent inspector that we had observed over a 60 year period of selling and buying rental houses and residential houses in which we lived over those 60 years. He was very pleasant and took time to explain as we followed him through the house and surrounding front and back property. He is certainly a natural born teacher/instructor who taught us much about the care and maintenance that is needed by our homes. We want to add that NPI owners Mike and Dana Barnhill consistently exhibited great customer skills and were very calming and helpful in the total process. All good and fair people...thank you!

Everyone at NPI is super top notch, and I ABSOLUTELY refer them to my clients EVERY time. Unbeatable value, professionalism, friendliness, and thoroughness! First, the inspection itself is done with precision. Then when they meet with the homeowner & agent after the inspection, they explain everything they found, as well as what it means to the homeowner. They patiently answer questions as if this homeowner is their only concern, even though I know for a fact that they have a lot of things to do and places to be. When they are WITH the homeowner, that is their BIGGEST concern. The homeowner asks questions, and if they don't know the answer (only happened once!), they find it. The report that they produce is promptly provided and easy to read. I refer them because they're simply the BEST.

Mike Barnhill was very thorough. The plumber who came to cure a defect he identified told us it was the best inspection he had ever seen, as the item he was called to repair would have been overlooked by most inspectors. Mike was also very courteous and COVID safe.
