Experienced Radon measurement technician #R1802: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimates that radon is responsible for more than 20,000 lung cancer deaths per year. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. after smoking, and the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Both the U.S. Surgeon General and the Environmental Protection Agency recommend that radon levels in all homes be tested. Setting up a radon test in your home takes just a few minutes. Testing by continuous monitor takes about 48 hours. Clients will receive a final report indicating levels of radon in the home at the end of the test.
